Some translations of one of my favourite pieces of Latin poetry have been blogged and then blogged further.
While we are on the subject of translations, there is Martin West's rendition of the "new" Sappho, The Times Stephen Spender Prize winner for 2008 for Ovid's Amores 1.1, and Christopher Marlowe's version of Ovid's Amores 1.5.
