A recent article in The Times concerned the final of a Spelling Bee associated with that newspaper.
When asked what he would do when he grows up, one of the winning twelve-year-old contestants is reported to have said, "I will be a lexicographer... No wait! A lawyer. I will do lexicography in my spare time".

Uncle P, you must quickly take him under your wing and introduce to the wonders of lexicography, so that he leaves behind those childhood dreams of law and lawyerhood!
