Look-a-like

In July 1842, Liddell claimed that he was haunted in his dreams, waking and sleeping, by a monster: Pi.

This creature straddled so much of the alphabet. Was he perhaps also the inspiration for Elvis' dance moves in 'Suspicious Minds'? The following picture is inconclusive, but the video is more convincing.
