Context is everything / Word-choice

A.F. Garvie notes in his commentary on Aeschylus Choephoroi 392 that θυμός is "the vehicle of passion" in contrast to the rational and reflective φρήν. Presumably, by "vehicle" he does not mean "passion wagon".
